No Blog Action

I am sorry that there have been no updates to the blog for the last couple of months. I did not appreciate how difficult internet access would become. In Kyrgyzstan we were camping out in the wilds for three weeks with no power - not even a bathroom in sight. We were washing in rivers. Stunningly beautiful but no good for keeping in contact with the outside world. When we got to China, I presumed there would be internet access - and there sort of was. However I had forgotten the Chinese opinion on freedom of speech. All blog sites were blocked - as was facebook. There was some access to emails but unfortuantely for me, my email provider jammed my account as I was in China - they presumed I was some kind of hacker. I have only managed to re-open it since arriving back in the UK. Luckily for my family, one member of the Japanese film crew had a proxy server on his laptop. This fools the internet into thinking you are in a different county, ie not China. Keiju the sound man was able to upload photos of all the group onto facebook, so family at least knew we were still alive. I am back safe and sound in Yorkshire now but I will complete the blog, so those who are still interested can see what I got up to. Zoe.
