It has been a while since my last adventure - spending a few months backpacking; exploring Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Since then, my holidays which have included: 3 weeks exploring off the beaten track in Cuba, traveling around Albania, a whistle-stop tour of Morocco and a Baltic cruise which enabled me to spend 2 days in St Petersberg have all taken place within the school holidays. The last six years have been spent being a proper exhausted full-time teacher. But the itchy feet have struck again. I have now said goodbye to my amazing class and quit school, ready to embark on what will be my last big adventure.(But I have said that before!) More details to follow but I will be jetting off to South America in January - just all my belongings to pack up and dispose of before then.
